Stella Pinewood, a Certified Scrum Master, and Financial/Administrative Analyst at EDG. Stella brings 15 years of unique blend of expertise in Accounting, Human Resources, Office Administration, and Agile Project Management. With a strong background in financial operations and organizational support, Stella drives productivity through stakeholder engagement, process improvement, operational efficiency, regulatory across diverse business environments. She facilitates collaborative workflows, optimize resource allocation, and guide teams through iterative improvements to achieve project goals.
Prior to joining EDG, Stella served as Practice Administrator at Onesource Sports Neuro Rehabilitation, where she managed the clinic’s budget, oversaw revenue and expense operations, and implemented strategic improvements in billing and collections. Through the adoption of electronic billing systems and the introduction of structured follow-up protocols for accounts receivable, she significantly reduced processing errors, shortened billing cycles, and improved revenue collection. She worked closely with executive leadership to shape strategic plans, partnered with the Clinical Director on patient volume forecasting and staffing, and introduced software solutions that enhanced the patient experience, increased cost efficiency, and reduced employee attrition.
Earlier in her career, Stella served as Project Manager with Adam Smith International (ASI) UK, supporting Ghana’s Public Utility Regulatory Commission (PURC) under a project funded by the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID). In this role, she contributed to the establishment of organizational structures and human resource frameworks, developed administrative policies and procedures, employee compensation, benefits programs, and training initiatives. She also coordinated local and international training programs, workshops, and study tours aimed at strengthening institutional capacity.
Stella holds an MBA from Georgia State University and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Georgia Gwinnett College. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
